The grand prix is back in KL again but this time round I won't be able to go and watch it live. Can't afford to splash out on the tickets and up till this moment, no genuine offers of free tickets too!
Many people I know actually prefer to watch it in the comfort of their homes but to me, nothing beats the real thing. I just love the atmosphere at the circuit with all the excitements and noises, even under the blazing sun.
You'll probably be half-soaked with sweat by the time you get to the circuit either from walking from your miles-away parked car or from being all packed up in the buses or trains just to get there, but you probably get to pick up alot of new friends in the process who'll be very chatty to share their same experiences with you. You probably will also miss half of the race actions since you won't be able to get the full view unless you're sitting at the paddock area but there will always be people in the crowd who'll be more than happy to share the updates they get from their mobile tele/radio with you. You'll probably be 10 times tanner or totally burned by the time you get home, but hey... you can atleast brag for the next couple of weeks that you WERE at the grand prix!
So.. nothing beats the real experience. Unfortunately, come sunday, I'll only be watching it from the tele (a big screen atleast I hope) sipping teh-o-ais limau...
Isk..
